In the end of 1994, the country was vigorously changing, the Corporate Law was promulgated. It was the time that Hanel Plastics Joint Stock Company was formed according to the Executive Board's initiative of Hanoi Electronics Company. Beware of the first joint stock enterprise in the North of Vietnam, with a brand new management model, Hanel Plastics clearly acknowledged the meaning and importance of a pioneer coping with various challenges and difficulties. With the limited start-up capital, Hanel Plastics clearly defined the target technology, the level of investment scale and most importantly affirming its brand name in the whole market. Gradual and steady investment on the basis of modern equipments and technology, producing plastic and styrofoam products to replace the imported ones, trying to become the most prestigious plastic and styrofoam supplier in Vietnam.
Hanel Plastics gradually grows, with the high-grade plastic and styrofoam products which replace those that are imported and worth millons of US Dollar anually. The Company has supplied a large number of foreign joint adventures in Vietnam with articles that are assemblied in the electric, electronic and household products which mostly are exported. Beside the mordern equipments, Hanel Plastics always concentrate on developing a good working environment, in which the employees are able to promote their available ability and evaluated according to working achievements and cultural behavior of each members. Hanel Plastics consider it the key to success. Training activities are also often taken for employees to improve qualification of fulfilling their assigned task profesionally. Products the Company offered always meet the most severe demands of the customers. Passing through development progress, Hanel Plastics, by now, has three modern production units valued at approximately 150 billions VND, including a styrofoam production workshop, a high-grade plastics production workshop and an affiliated company (Hanel Mirolin Joint Stock Company).
By building and applying the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 and the Environment Management System 14001:2004, Hanel Plastics JSC at any time clearly defined its objective as directing toward the customers on the basis of "Thoroughly understanding the customers' demand in order to supply them the suitable products and service".
