In the first time, Cholon Plastic was only a small manufacturing establishment with the area not more than 2,000 m2 , was named Cholon Plastic Enterprise – founded in 1990, located on 08 Ly Chieu Hoang Street – District 06 – HCMC. Initially, it focused on manufacturing household plastic such as glass, basket, wash-tub; bucket…and the main market at that time were HCMC and other neighbourhood. Due to the growing need, and being aware of the limtitation in satisfying customers’ demand of workshop capacity, therefore, in 1996, The Steering Committee decided to change their location to 8H An Duong Vuong Street – Ward 16 – District 8 – HCMC with the area over 15,000 m2, as soon as rename it into Cholon Plastic Private Enterprise
Manufacturing activity is not only focused on developing the width but also investing to the depth like concentrate in enhancing the skill of labours, upgrade, replace old machines with modern, automatic lines. They established designing, developing departments, purchased machines which produces models itself in order to vary the products, try our best to meet the customers’ demands. So as to run our ompany into order and discipline and become more and more perfect, in 2000 The Sterring Committee applied the ISO standard management system to the whole designing, producing, operating process and the result was in 2001 Cholon Plastic Private Enterprise was awarded the approval system by Vietnamese Enterprise. Moreover, they sent some representatives to the Technical Creation Competition held by local city as well as country and always get one of the highest prizes in those competitions.

Along with the investment in manufacturing, developing market is not less important, from the small market within HCMC, Cholon Plastic has opened wide its market to over 64 cities and provinces in the whole country. Nowadays, Cholon Plastic does not only run the local market but also spread out to the international market like USA, Australia, Korea…

* Being acknowledged as a Vietnamese High Quality product by customers during 2002 to present.
* Receiving a lot of certificates of merit from HCMC People’s Committee and Science-Technology Chambers in HCMC as well Binh Duong awarded for excellent performance in applying the technical progress in manufacturing – dealing, serving the community’s benefits.
* Being acknowledged to be one of the top 60 enpterprises in plastic from 1996 to 2001 by Vietnam Plastic – Rubber Community of Enterprises and ASEAN Plastic Association.
* Being recognized as the famous brand in Vietnam by customers through the survey carried out by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and AC Nelsen.

From small establishment, Cholon Plastic has come over the way more than 15 years to become an Enpterprise with over 500 items to satisfy the market, various models for various customers; hence, it can be said that Cholon Plastic is one of the pioneers as well as leaders in manufacturing – supplying plastic products in Vietnam.

* Widen workshops: Open another workshop in Phuoc Ly Commune – Can Giuoc Suburban – Long An Province with the area 10,000 m2.
* Focus on manufacturing products which contents high technology and science.
