An Phat began the construction of CaCO3 factory and raised money for charity in Yen Bai
Yesterday, 24th January 2010, in Southern Yen Bai industrial park, An Phat –Yen Bai Plastic and Minerals Joint Stock Company began the construction of CaCO3 additives factory.
Attending the ground-breaking ceremony, there are leaders of Yen Bai province: Mr. Hoang Thuong Luong – Deputy Secretary of provincial party cum chairman of Yen Bai People Committee; and leaders of department and offices in Yen Bai. From An Phat, there are Mr. Pham Anh Duong – Chairman of the Director Board of An Phat Plastic and Green Environment JSC; Mr. Pham Hoang Viet – Deputy General Director of Business; Mr. Nguyen Le Trung – Deputy General Director of Finance. The representative of An Phat Plastic and Minerals is Mr. Le Manh Hung – Manager. The CaCO3 factory is built on the area of 40.883 square meter with the investment fund of 50 billion Vietnamese Dong. Morden Japanese-imported machines are installed for the factory’s designed capacity of 11.000 tonnes per year. Coming into operation, An Phat Plastic and Minerals JSC would bring employment to about 300 local workers. Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of Yen Bai People Committee, Mr Hoang Thuong Luong sent his thanking to An Phat Group for choosing to invest in Yen Bai Southern industrial park. This would contribute to promote the development of the industrial park in particular and Yen Bai industry in general, which helps creat more employment and higher income to local workers, stabilize highlanders’ lives, and increase the provincial budget.
On behalf of the director supervising company, An Phat Plastic and Minerals JSC, Mr. Le Manh Hung expressed his gratitude to the consideration, priority and support from Yen Bai authority to the company. He also promised for the quick implementation of the factory construction and operation. During the project formation, An Phat has constantly paid great attention to environment protection for the strategy of “Long lasting development”.
Remarkably, together with beginning the construction of CaCO3 factory, An Phat cooperated with Yen Bai Youth Union, Yen Bai BIDV Branch, Van Chan Hydroelectric Company to celedrate a cultural exchanging and a charity auction of fashionable plastic products designed by An Phat staffs. Especially, the chairity auction to raise money for the poor fund of Yen Bai Youth Union got the surprising result with the total bidding value up to 47.5 million Vietnamese Dong. On behalf of the organizers, Mr. Pham Anh Duong presented this sum of money to the Secretary of Yen Bai Youth Union.
Those charity activities in Yen Bai was part of the scheme “Bringing the Shine to North Western Villages” that An Phat Board of Directors and the company’s staffs and workers are enthusiastically participating. It is expected that in accordance with the operation and development of the factory anad projects, this humane “Bringing the Shine to North Western Villages” programme will be considered, approved and contributed to the success by organizations and enterprises.
